The Cat Empire are by far my favourite band, no question. I spent 3 years trying to see them live whilst on tour from Australia, but every time being tied up with stuff like weddings and doings shows, I finally got to see them in 2007- 3 times at that! Meeting Felix for an interview for SURGE was a nice bonus too :-) great band; check them out, a few vids on youtube etc.

As for right now- “The Wombats”, nice album which I bought off the strength of 20 seconds of the first track. It was a meant to be a Christmas present, but I’ve ended up hoarding it more than the supposed owner!

Generally? I don’t want to be one of those guys who says “I like everything” because that’s jus not true, but its hard to pin down, I’d probably have to go on a track by track basis. And yes this is a nice fence I am sitting on :-)
