It feels appropriate just to say thank you Southampton. Right now, I'm the happiest man alive. Thank you so much for this, I won't let you down at all.
Thank you so much for all the support, but I just feel like I have to say thank you to all the other candidates. They pushed me so hard every day and a lot of the time I felt like I was being outdone,
What I can say is that we all worked together to push the voting figure sky high. Every one worked so hard and it's a shame we all couldn't win. I'm confident in every candidate and I'm absolutely sure they all would have made great Presidents.
But thank you for having faith in me, and even those who didn't vote for me, I promise I won't let you down.
Thank you Southampton.
Steve
We've met so many new people and it's been so much fun. We've been trying to reach as many people as possible, talking to people, finding out what they want from their Union and telling them a bit about my policies and experience. I know it can sometimes be annoying for some students when all they want is to get to their lectures and everyone's trying to campaign to them. So sorry to anyone that has been frustrated with all the noise and kefuffle!
I hope everyone who votes will vote for the best candidate. I promise I won't let you down and will work the hardest I've worked at anything. I have a big range of experience within SUSU and it's the most relevant to the Job. I really will do an amazing job and I hope that I've convinced you.
So please remember to Vote! I hope you've enjoyed the Campaign, please remember to watch my video and lastly thanks for reading this. I hope you've enjoyed the campaign as much as I have.
Super candidate love,
Steve

Okay, where to start.
the concourse was the most fun place ever today. Brimming with sound and people (though not many voters), there were trumpets, tent games and even pole dancing.
I woke up feeling groggy today, after four hours sleep and with a sofa to somehow relocate to the concourse. I won't beat around the bush, things were looking grim and I was feeling dusty!
However, after a can of Relentless and a Crunchie (in my opinion the best chocolate bar ever) things started to look up. It was a great day for the campaign and a great day for the individual campaign teams. I couldn't help but feel a sense of comeradery with my opponents. With the trumpets blasting and pole dancers dancing! The concourse really was the place to go, so much so I felt the need to have a go my self. My prowess on the pole even prompting one passer by to enquire whether I had had lessons....I haven't, well none that I would tell people about.
As the day went on, we had the SUSU.tv interviews, which I think went pretty well! You can check them out pretty soon on the SUSU.org website. So have a little looky!
Any hoo! Hope to see you all around at some point this week and next!
Muchos Campaign Love,
Steve
So I've decided on my campaign slogan! I think it's pretty catchy! I've worked it out. The idea is like. 'Oh really? Can that happen!?' Sort of thing and then the reply 'O'Reilly!', like 'yeah it can wooop'! This shall be my battle cry for the week!
Oh Really?....Yes
Well wow wee!, campaign week is nigh and preparations are nearly completed! I can't believe it's come so fast! I remember first year, when Ben Rogers was president, who I won't lie was probably the coolest dude ever! Now nearly 3 years and 2 presidents later, it's my turn, although, I'm definitely not as cool as Ben was, I definitely think I'm up for the job!
I love campaign week every year! Regardless of the outcome, the concourse is always busy, bustling with people and sounds, and of course bright colours! It really injects life into the Union and that's the way it works best, when everyone gets involved! There's going to be hundreds of people on loads of different campain teams with words like manifesto and vote being thrown around like hot, smelly potatos! I'm sure there's gunna be some stress, afterall this is a massive deal for all of the people going up for things! But I'm really looking forward to it, I can't wait to get out there and just meet a load of different people!
Everything is going smoothly at the moment but I have some other pressing issues, like some one has been stealing my ham. So while I try and find the phantom pork fiend, you guys all remember to vote!
I know everyone can't win, but there's no reason we can't have an amazing week! Good luck to all the candidates, I hope everyone has an awesome week and I shall see you all with your banners, t-shirts, blimps, billboards and what ever else on Monday!
Election Love,
Steve
