It was such a shock to win, but the most amazing feeling! I don't think it really sunk in until last week after I handed my dissertation in. Campaign week was so crazy and I can't believe I won and managed to get my dissertation done, thank you everyone so much!
And thank you to all my campaign team - Especially Natasha, Aris, Faye, Sarosh and Christabel and Tom and Emma and Sara!
From a very happy Becky - VP Ed elect :D :D xxx

Voting opened today and it's really great to hear and see so many people voting, it's so important that people have their say!
I was on the concourse for most of this morning and then went to speak in a few lectures, I just hope my passion and dedication comes across to everyone!
This week has been crazy and now I really know what time management is! My dissertation is due in on Friday and I'm actually quite proud of how well it's going and how much campaigning I've been able to do. I've spoken to lectures, been to halls, been to Winchester, NOC and Avenue, been on the concourse and been out for a few nights!
If I haven't been able to talk to any of you yet and you're wondering why you should vote for me, check out my manifesto and also:
* I'm dedicated to what I take on, when I get involved with something I have to put my all into it and I'll do exactly this in this role

Friday was yet another hectic day! I had my new banners all painted and ready and got them up on the concourse finally. They may have been wonky and they may have fallen down, but these are minor details, the point is, they were up!
I spent some time on the concourse, it was quite quiet so most of the time was spent talking to the other candidates but it was really nice getting to know them all! As annoying as campaign week is to everyone else, I've really enjoyed the concourse having an atmosphere and it's been great getting to know all the campaign teams and candidates out there.
Kinki in the evening was so much fun. I had my campaign team out in force with our ties and speech bubbles! I had such a fun night, it was like fresher's week again, having the chance to meet new people! And the best thing was, it was so cheap; as I wasn't drinking I only spent £1.50 on coke!
I saw the charity sleepover outside after the cube and I really don't know how they did it, it was freezing outside! I have so much respect for those who did it though, it's for such a good cause!
I actually managed to get up early on Saturday and come to the library to get on with my dissertation, I'm not quite sure how I did it! Anyway that was where I spent all of yesterday sadly! But there was a funny moment when someone's phone started ringing with 'ring of fire' by Johnny Cash and as his headphones were in, he didn't notice! Everyone in the computer room was laughing, it was so funny, especially as it was such a strange ringtone!
Anyway I'm going to stop rambling on now.
