So it's Saturday, the candidates and campaign teams can finally get a bit of extra well-earned sleep, and the University might become a little quieter! No rest for the wicked though, and I'm up already unfortunately. I've got work to do at somepoint, but firstly I'm off to Wide Lane, we've got our first pre-season game and that Centre Field slot won't fill itself!

Chatting to Chrissie yesterday, we really noticed how emotional this whole campaigning and elections business really is. Lack of sleep, the stress and tension of it all and how much these sabbatical positions all mean to us are really evident. All the candidates are in the same boat though, and it's really refreshing to see everyone willing to help each other and give loads of support! It's certainly good training for the welfare candidates!

I'm off to get some fresh air and some much needed exercise... hopefully everyone who's still in bed is enjoying their sleep - a lot of very tired people were noticeable on the concourse yesterday!
