I really am; I'm huge.

Many of you in halls of residence and elsewhere may have woken up this morning and wondered out into the corridors, only to see bright green and my be-a-u-t-i-f-u-l face staring back at them.

It's the final stretch to the campaign trail - my newest posters!

I wanted to put a couple up at the last stages of voting featuring pictures of myself through the week - yes, that is me with the Jesters dj headphones on. Yes, I can look serious. And yes, I really am that big. Joke. I suspect all 3 of them feature an unwashed me! (hot)

A few people have asked why I've put them up so late. Well, people, I'll tell you. I've been visiting all the campuses and halls of residence all week long, on every day! To one competitor who enquired as to my whereabouts last night when I finally hit Jesters at midnight (Paranoia setting in, Mr Church??!) - that is where I was!

You are not forgotten about, and I certainly don't expect people to vote for me on the basis of just seeing a poster at the start of the week - it's been so important to me to actually talk to people and guage what their opinions are of the student experience.

Amongst others, thankyou to the lovely people in Chamberlain who let me into their corridors (especially to the people in A block who made me a cup of tea!) on Sunday, to the kitchen dwellers in Hartley who didn't mind me climbing through their window, and to Highfield halls, who had to put up with me climbing on a chair in the middle of dinner to address them!

Many people - in particular campaign teams - have complained that people just don't care about the elections. Oh contraire! They DO care! It makes a huge difference in approaching people in a manner of 'I want to listen to you', rather than the 'vote for me!' chant going on at Jesters. What IS clear is that many people are unsure of what the elections are for, and what the roles entail. I like to think I've explained as best as possible to those whom I've met. There's been some fab discussions too; Avenue campus like to debate! I hope I won round the guys sitting outside who were anti-elections, and to the girls sitting inside who suggested a mini-Avenue bunfight? All great ideas! They already do it at Monte halls so I don't see why not, and it's something I'd definitely look into if elected.

For all those who have been hassled and told to vote over the last week - I hope I've explained why you should vote (in a non-shouty manner!) It does make a difference to your uni life - and it's always worth getting the free lolly and badge at the ballot boxes!

Lots of tired Caz love! xxxxxxxxxx

Tuesday 3rd March - wow! When did we get here? Seems like it was only yesterday that I woke up to the lurgi and realised campaigning had started. And yet now it's almont finished! I've come over all philosophical (but I haven't got a rash)

Raindrops keep falling on my heaaaaaad (feel free to sing the rest). Everyone complains about the weather but I like it. My hair doesn't need protecting from the elements; I have my trusty camouflage umbrella for that! You may have seen me running around with it for the last week-and-a-bit; It lights up as well!

If you haven't voted yet, VOTE! And vote for me! I have a cool umbrella.

I keep meaning to update everyyyyything from wednesday through to Saturday on here as it's been busy busy, and I want to let you know what I've been up to before voting closes. Mostly so you'll vote for me, but also as I suspect many people won't check out scrapbook again, and it's a real shame.

Soton sexy people really should get involved with all the things we have to offer at Southampton, be them societies, clubs or even our social networking sites. They are a fantastic way to really connect with your friends and fellow students - and you won't get poked like on facebook. Poking really is quite rude, isn't it? Especially if you haven't asked to be poked, and especially by someone you don't know. I suspect there is poking etiquette, and I'm afraid to say it's often violated!

I thought I'd just give a little mention to my thoughts and the things going through my braaaaain (I have one of those).

Keep your eyes peeled for the next installment!

......ITS MY BIRTHDAY! Well, kind of! And it was yesterday too!

I wanted to say a massive thankyou to everyone who has said happy birthday (had it sung in 4 different languages yesterday!), text, called, messaged me etc etc .... so I'm saying it now. THANKYOU!!!!

If you're wondering - no, I'm not being greedy, but I'm actually born on the 29th February; yes, I am one of those wierd leap year kiddy-winks. Which means I am actually 5 and 1/4 years old!

I'm very advanced for  my age.

Lots of Caz Love xxxxxx

Why I love Southampton University

I'll take Soton Uni please, sunny side up.

Have I ever told you about when I first came to Southampton? Well, it was the big move down South for me. It didn't matter that it was South of ENGLAND - to me, a Midlands girl - hello sea, hello docks! I walked around in flip flops all the way through to January! I probably thought I was in California.

Since being here, I've chucked myself out of a plane for fun, I've helped run a society with 300 members,'ve had a sleepover on campus, I've even jumped in the pond near the interchange...and now, I'm running for a position in what is the biggest week of the year alongside Freshers week.

What's not to love? I've made some fab friends, joined some amazing societies, had some crazy times - and I'm getting a degree alongside all these incredible life experiences. That's pretty awesome, to be honest!
