Hey,
Well, as my journal title says its less than 24 hours to go until voting closes. I really just need to know what the results are now - i'm so impatient with these kinds of things.
Today was wet! My banner got ruined and my sign is on its way. I'm just thankful it happened today. Tonight I stop the campaigning - have got a rehearsal for Sweeney Todd and then onto a social at Rhino so i'm really hoping for a great night out.
I just wanna take the time now to thank everyone who has worked hard on my campaign. I've had some great support and without you guys I wouldn't have a chance at all in the elections. I also want to thank you, the voter, even if you didn't vote for me because it's you guys who really make the difference by electing the sabbatical and executive team. If you still haven't voted yet there is of course still time - it closes tomorrow at 12pm. Please read the manifestos and remember to vote BarAkhil Obama for Societies Officer 2009/10.
This has been the craziest week and a half in my uni life and it's been such a great learning experience. Whatever happens tomorrow evening i'll be back again next year...! This is probably going to be my final blog post of these elections so I've hope you've enjoyed reading about it all.

Hey hey,
As i'm sure you are all aware voting how now begun. I have been feeling so nervous all day about it all - my desire for the position is increasing as the hours pass by and I still just want Wednesday to come.
Today was spent on the concourse from half 8 this morning getting the name out. I have no idea how many votes i'll be getting but i really hope people read the manifestos before voting. I'm feeling really tired too but hey lets hope it's all been worth it.
Tonight, I have a rehearsal then maybe onto Bevois Valley to do some more campaigning. Tomorrow brings more concourse action methinks.
I'll catch ya tomorrow

PS. Vote BarAKHIL Obama Societies Officer 2009/10. Can we make the societies department bigger and better next year...Yes We Can!
Hello there,
Today has had very little to do with campaigning. I had a rehearsal for Copacabana (come see it - 17th to 21st March in the Annex Theatre. Tickets now available at the box office).
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and trying to convince people to vote for me. Went to Jesters last night and got a few more votes randomly which was great.
I can't wait for Elections Night. I think this is going to be a brilliant night - I'm so nervous about it though.
Anyway i'll catch ya tomorrow,
Don't forget to vote Barakhil Obama for Societies Officer

Hi,
I've spent most of today recovering from this weeks exploits.
Kinki was amazing last night - the only sour point of the night was discovering that all the posters outside the cafe had been ripped down by someone. Fair enough if you really don't want to vote but to go out and maliciously rip them down was not something I appreciated - especially given all the hard work of the candidates and their teams. But hey, today is a new day and i'm looking forward to go out tonight.
Tomorrow is a heavy rehearsal and work catch up day and then hopefully going to see Sinfonietta in the evening.
Not long left now until it all finishes - don't forget to vote at vote.susu.org.

Hello,
If you were out on the concourse you may have seen people walking around in suits and dark glasses - that was my secret service! I was properly playing on the Obama link today and it was so much fun - if you missed it you'll see it at Kinki if you're there.
Karaoke last night was awesome - had a great time singing and got chatting to a lot of people. Also met some more candidates - its great to see how passionate people are - I love it.
Tonight of course brings Kinki which is going to be a great night - I want my team to campaign obviously but what I really want is for everyone to have the best night!
It's quite scary now as today was the last official concourse day before voting begins. I really want next Wednesday to roll around as quickly as possible.
Hopefully see a load of you tonight.
Peace out
Akhil
Hellooo,
How are we all today? I'm feeling really good today actually - went up to Winchester which despite the lack of students was a worthwhile experience and a generally quite a fun trip for all the candidates.
I learnt a lot about the situation in Winchester today - the word integration came up a lot today and it really does interest me about how peopled intended to get more integration.
I also met a lot of the other candidates running today which was great. What a lovely bunch they are.
I'm really excited about campaigning tonight - i love karaoke and am looking forward to getting up there and singing!
Tomorrow should be an interesting day - if i can get enough people out doing what I want them to it hopefully might make a big impact.
Catch ya tomorrow
