*Phew*.  Finally, after one of the craziest weeks of my life, I’ve found a few minutes to let you know what I’ve been up to.  After two sets of hustings, a tv interview with the next Fern and Phil, Jesters, Carnage, karaoke, questions, sooo many questions and about three hours sleep it’s almost voting time.  And before I say anything else, whatever you do please vote, because it really is so important.

I’ve spoken to a lot of people this week and for those that were not directly within ear shot of the megaphone on the concourse, there were generally two responses to the elections.  Either, they didn’t know a lot about them, OR, they were fed up with the constant campaigning they had encountered.  One of the things I’ve not been doing is standing on the concourse, stopping people in their tracks as they’re dashing to that all important lecture.  I want to talk to people, to YOU, so I know what you want out of SUSU media next year.  And in all honesty, I think it has gone down well.

Voting is from Monday until 12pm on Wednesday, and for the most part I’ll be on the concourse – but I won’t be shouting at you, telling you to vote for me.  Instead, I want you to ask me questions, find out what I stand for and get to know me, because only by being personable and approachable can I feel confident that we’ll have a really fantastic media year together.  I don’t remember THAT happening with a megaphone!!
